Gersthofen, April 23rd, 2019.
At architect@work trade fair from May 15th – 16th 2019 (Messe Zürich/Halls 3 & 4, daily 11:00 a.m. – 8 p.m.) iconic skin will present a development of its ISOshade® façade. Using an exhibit, the manufacturer of construction elements for glass façades demonstrates the functionality of the high-performance façade. The intelligence of the single ISOshade® element sits in the cavity: A clever system creates the pressure compensation completely self-sufficient. At the exhibition stand, the team will also provide information about the possible applications and current references.
The high-performance façade consist of ISOshade® elements, which combine insulating glass and an integrated sun protection system in one unit. ISOshade® is suitable for use in mullion/transom and unitized façades, especially in towers and office buildings. The glass make-up, interlayers and coatings are specified to suit individual performance requirements. The integrated sun protection system has decisive advantages. Protected in the cavity, the sun protection system can not only be opened or closed regardless of the weather, but at the same time reduces cleaning and maintenance costs and lowers the operating costs of the façade.
Core market: Switzerland
“We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to Zurich. Switzerland has emerged as one of the core markets since the product launch of ISOshade® in 2018. The Swiss interest in the product is enormous. The majority of ISOshade® enquiries for exciting and above all suitable projects come from Switzerland. We would therefore like to use architect@work as a platform to explain the clever technology behind ISOshade® and make the façade solution even better known”, says Michael Hoetter, Sales Manager Switzerland iconic skin.
ISOshade® is available in various versions to meet the customers’ requirements. ISOshade® RS with integrated venetian blinds offers individual light control with rotating slats. This creates pleasant room climates in office and residential buildings. In the ISOshade® SM version, integrated vertical blinds made of UV-resistant fabric provide a diffuse lighting environment combined with efficient visual protection. The sun protection systems are easily accessible via a flap and simplify maintenance.
