ISOshade®, the insulating glass unit with integrated sun protection system, is now part of the permanent exhibition at the Priedemann Facade-Lab in Großbeeren near Berlin. iconic skin, manufacturer of construction elements for glass façades, expands its presence and offers international architects and builders the opportunity to see ISOshade® live. Hitherto, iconic skin shows the insulating glass unit in its own showroom in Gersthofen, Bavaria.
Meeting place for façade experts
“We are very pleased to be part of the Facade-Lab. Priedemann showcases around 50 façade exhibits from many well-known manufacturers, such as Gutmann, Hueck, Raico, Schüco and Wicona. That’s the reason, we don’t want ISOshade® to be missed in the showroom”, says Stefan Ried, Sales Manager at iconic skin. “With another location, we are offering interested architects in the northern part of Germany the opportunity to find out more about ISOshade®. The advantage of the showroom compared to a trade show is that visitors have enough time to find out more about the products. We are looking forward to appointments.”
ISOshade® is showcased with dimensions of 1,275 x 2,760 x 204 mm (w/h/d). The 1-storey high insulating glass unit can be installed in unitized and mullion/transom façades of office buildings and towers. The integrated venetian blinds with flat slats (80 mm) provide optimum, variable light control, which is necessary in office buildings. In the exhibited version iconic skin shows an ISOshade® variant with a venetian blind in white aluminium (RAL9006).
More space for samples
In the Priedemann exhibition room, the most diverse facade materials and solutions as well as their processing possibilities are presented as 1:1 samples. This makes the impression more realistic than with the small hand samples. All exhibits will be presented in 1.35 m wide, storey-high support elements in constructive connection with connections, joints and corner solutions. Further colours and surface qualities can be seen in the enclosed sample presentations. In addition, prototypes from the development work and sample facades of completed projects will be presented in the showroom.
