Gersthofen, May 8th, 2019.
GSP® multiframe, the universal adapter profile for the installation of win-dows in glass sandwich facades, is wind and water tight. This was confirmed by CE testing of the frame profile at the end of April. The individual components of the glass sandwich façade - GSP® and windows - have already been individually tested and CE certified. Now GSP® multiframe has been tested in the laboratory for air permeability, driving rain tightness and wind load. With success: The air measurements showed a very high tightness of the universal profile both under pressure and suction. Thus GSP® multiframe meets the requirements of class A4. The driving rain tightness corre-sponds to class R7.
Tested window connection
With GSP® multiframe iconic skin enables the material and manufacturer independent construction of glass sandwich facades. With GSP® multiframe not only aluminium windows but also plastic or wooden windows can be easily integrated into GSP®. Customers benefit from comprehensive flexibil-ity in the construction of glass sandwich facades. GSP® multiframe is simply clamped onto the panel on site. Window, door and façade systems with basic depths of 75 to 95 mm can then simply be inserted and screwed to the adapter frame. The load is transferred via bearings into the substructure. GSP® multiframe can be ordered as a delivery item via iconic skin.
